Halloween Haul

14/10/2013

I was in town at the weekend and I ended up buying more Halloween things.  It’s not like I don’t have enough as I do but I just can’t seem to help myself.  I see something I like and somehow I end up at the till paying for it! At this rate I am going to have to buy more storage containers.

Anyhoo, if you want to have a wee look at what I bought here are a few pics of my haul.

Primark Halloween Jumper
Primark Ghost Jumper £14.00

The photo doesn’t do the jumper any justice as there are some sparkly sequins in the ghost that the camera did not pick up.  I thought that this would be good to wear in the daytime on Halloween as dressed up in fancy dress while I go about my day to day business might attract some very strange looks 🙂

Lidl Halloween Tricolore Pasta 99p
John Lewis Pumpkin Marshmallows £4.00

In Lidls, I came across a bag of Halloween pasta shapes that include Jack O’ Lanterns, spiders, bats, etc and I thought that I could make a Halloween Pasta Bake for dinner one night and also for a Pasta Salad for our get together on the 1st November.  With the marshmallows, I bought them without thinking what to use them for as I just thought they were cute. I have a black icing pen that I might draw Jack O’ Lantern faces on them or I might just put them into my hot chocolate.

Aldi Halloween Pails 99p each
Aldi Silicon Ice Trays £1.99 each

In Aldi’s I picked up 3 cute little Halloween pails, a Jack O’ Lantern, a spider and and a spotted one with Happy Halloween on it. Not sure what I will use these for yet but I am sure I will find some use for them. Also there were silicon ice trays, I bought the bats and ghosts but there were pumpkin ones too. As they are silicon you could probably use them to make mini cakes too.

Lush Pumkin Bubble Bar £2.75

And finally, my treat for Halloween night is this little fella, a Lush Pumkin Bubble Bar (yes Pumkin without a P it’s not a spelling error). Like other Lush products it smells lovely and I am looking forward to having a long soak in the bath once all the Trick or Treaters have gone 🙂

Have you bought anything for Halloween? I love seeing what other people buy for Halloween.

Spread the love

I will follow you on Instagram :)! I've bought those lights too as I was going to put them in my smaller lantern. I bought the snowflake ones too in preparation for Christmas. Do you have a Lidl's near you? They have loads of stuff as do Aldi's.
