With January finally over and having money in my bank account again I headed into town the other week to see what was in the shops as I hadn’t been in since before Christmas. There were still a lot of stores with 70% off, Oasis was going that bit further with their in-store sales as you were getting a further 20% their reduced items but more on that further down the post. Accessorize had quite a bit left in their sale so I just had to have a look and see what there was for me. Accessorize is my favourite place to go for …. ummmmm accessories as they have so many pretty things such as bags, jewellery, scarves and slippers. I picked up quite a few items and it cost me less than £30, what a bargain! I even bought my Mum a necklace (not shown) so that was 7 items for under £30.
This pretty beaded Mila bag is perfect for weddings or even a glam night out, it has a silver chain but it can be placed inside the bag if you want to use it as a clutch. It was originally £29 but I bought it for £8.70.
I saw this Silver Pavé Plait ring online before the sales had started and really liked it so when I saw it was only £2.40 then I just had to buy it. I do love wearing statement rings so this piece is perfect for my collection.
The butterfly lover in me fell in love with this colourful gemmed ring as well as the enamel necklace below, the ring was £2.40 and the blue butterfly necklace was my cheapest purchase at only £1.80. The rope necklace has 3 layers to it with clear beads and a gold tassel at the end which was £4.50.
The Helena Sparkle charm necklace was only £3.60 and as its name suggests has lots of sparkly charms on it such as stars, flowers, a leaf as well as colourful beads.
Moving onto my Oasis purchases I managed to pick up some really good buys, I just went in for a look as its where I buy most of my clothes from and picked up a floral tunic dress that was £36 down to £10 which I thought was really good but when I got to the checkout there was a further 20% off so it was only £8. After a look round the other shops in town I headed back to Oasis (as you do) to see what else I could pick up in their sale.
This grey jumper is lovely and soft, it’s not a thick cosy jumper but it’s perfect for layering up with. This was also originally £36 but with the extra 20% off its sale price it cost me £9.60.
This floral dress was the one I mentioned above for only £8! I’ve worn it with my heels that I got in River Island’s sale in a previous post but you could also wear ith with flats too.
Staying with the floral theme this green floral top is perfect with jeans, I also got this for £8 from its original price of £22. I’ve not worn it yet but plan on wearing it soon.
This silver shimmer top at £30 wasn’t in the sale but I really liked it, with it’s long sleeves black and silver leaf design so I ended up picking this up also.
I bought this Hobo bag online rather than in-store as I was looking for a new work bag after a bottle of fruit juice burst in my favourite Cath Kidston one and it had to go in the bin along with some of the contents due to them being covered in a sticky orange residue. This stone coloured bag is HUGE so is perfect for everything but the kitchen sink that I take to work with me, it was £36 down to £10 and is such a good buy.
Have you managed to pick up any last minute bargains?
