I’m not sure about you but I love having a look to see what other people eat whether I’m on Slimming World or not.  It gives you inspiration on those days that you have absolutely no idea what to have.  Sometimes though you might come across someone’s meal and look at the weird concoction and think “Why?! Why would you even eat that?!”   Fingers crossed that no-one thinks that about any of my meals.  So in case you are looking for some lunch inspo or just want to check out what I’ve eaten I have photographed my week of Slimming World lunches.

This is week I’ve managed to lose 2lbs and am now 10st 2lb making my total loss so far 5lbs.  Considering my first week was practically a write off I think I’ve done really well since starting just 3 weeks ago.  My clothes are starting to feel a bit looser around my hips/tummy so hopefully in a few more weeks I can get back into some of my pre-pregnancy clothes.  This week I managed to get to 2 Jazzercise classes so I think that has helped with the loss.  My bmi has dropped from 27.7 to 26.6. If you want to check out what yours is you can check it on the NHS BMI Calculator   So here are my Week of Slimming World Lunches.

Saturday

Saturday’s lunch was leftovers from my Slow Cooker Beef and Broccoli that I made the day before.  I hadn’t taken photos of the dish on the day that I made it so it was my last chance to get some pics before it was demolished.

Sunday

No pics today as I never ate lunch.  Bad I know! I did have a late breakfast though in my defence.

Monday

As I work Mondays and Tuesdays I took a chicken salad to work.  It had 2 chicken breast slices, mixes salad leaves, cucumber and tomato which are all free.  Being a mayonnaise addict I did have to Syn that.  I use Sainsbury’s Light Mayonnaise which is 2 syns per level tablespoon.    I used 2 so that’s 4 syns.

Tuesday

Another packed lunch since I’m at work.  I made a huuuuuge pasta salad as I go to Jazzercise on a Tuesday night and don’t have dinner until after I come home.  I boiled a lot some pasta along with frozen sweetcorn and drained once cooked.  Then I added chopped tomatoes, cucumber and roasted red pepper and mixed it in with the pasta along with some mayo.  Again this was 4 syns for the mayonnaise.

Wednesday

I had lunch at home so had a baked potato with prawns and a lot of salad.  For the prawn sauce I mixed 2 tablespoons of light mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of Heinz reduced sugar & salt Tomato Ketchup (0.5 syns) plus a few drops each of Tabasco and gluten free Worcestershire sauce.  A total of 4.5 syns for this lunch.

Thursday

Another day without lunch as we had a late breakfast so I just ate a packet of Metcalfe’s Skinny Sweet & Salt Popcorn (25g) which is 5.5 syns.

Friday

I had another baked potato as they are so quick and easy to make.  For the filling I used the Vivera Veggie Greek Kebab (175g pack).  This one is 4.5 syns but if you go for the Shawarma version that is only 1 Syn per pack.  On the side was a lot of salad for speed and also topped the kebab off with 1 tablespoon of Heinz Garlic Sauce which is 3 syns.

Wow, this is amazing, seeing this a bit late though, but I can as well go for those recipes. Good work.
