It’s been 12 weeks now that I’ve been on the Slimming World diet and I have lost a total of 11lbs. I had lost 11.5lbs until I went to Edinburgh and gained 3lbs in a week, 2 weeks on I have only lost 2.5lbs of that gain! Why does it go on so easily but is harder to come off? Anyone?! I only lost 0.5lb but I’ve noticed a pattern that when it’s star ⭐️ week (this is what is known as that time of the month in our SW group) I don’t really lose that much weight. I’m not going to lie as I had hoped for a better loss as with Weight Watchers I lost half a stone in the first fortnight but I guess slow and steady wins the race.
While the weight loss hasn’t been huge I have dropped a dress size and now able to wear clothes in my wardrobe that have been barely worn as well as quite a few new things that I have bought. I am only 3lbs away from losing my first stone and receiving my next certificate. My bmi is now in the normal category, I have lost just under 4% fat according to my Fitbit scales and I’ve lost 6 inches off my (now) not so flabby arse. When I registered I set my target as 8 1/2 stone, perhaps that is being over ambitious for now so I think I will change it to 9 stone and take it from there.
The above photo was taken just before I left the house to head to my first Slimming World class, my tummy was bloated, face podgier and my arse was the size of a small country. Both my jeans and jumper are a size 14.
This photo was taken yesterday wearing some of my new clothes; the jeans are a size 12, my gingham top is a size 14 but is huge and I need to get it into my head to buy smaller sizes now! My red biker jacket is a size 14 but that’s because I like to wear jackets on the larger side so I can wear jumpers, etc underneath.
