If you’re looking for a delicious but easy Autumnal treat, this Salted Caramel Cream Cheese Dip is for you. It takes less than 5 minutes to make and 30 minutes to chill.
Apples are in abundance at this time of the year and what better way to eat them than dunking them into this delicious salted caramel cream cheese dip. You could also use biscuits, pretzels, marshmallows or anything else you want to dip in to it. It only requires three ingredients, takes less than five minutes to make and is chilled in around thirty minutes. If you love caramel apples like I do then this is a definite winner!
You could put them into individual ramekins for a dessert or in a larger dish for people to share.
What you need:
Plain Soft Cream Cheese 140g
Salted Caramel Sauce 2 heaped tablespoons
Crunchie 1/4 smashed to sprinkle over the top
How to make:
Using a mixer or by hand, beat the cream cheese until it is light and creamy.
Add the caramel sauce and mix through until it’s all combined.
Place the mixture into a dish and place in the fridge until chilled.
Smash your Crunchie (placing it in a sandwich bag and whacking it with a rolling pin is best) and then sprinkle over the top.
Slice your apples and get dunking!
Makes enough for two greedy people or three who are more restrained!
