Halloween is one of my favourite times of the year, however Christmas takes the top spot. Unfortunately here in the UK we don’t celebrate it in the big way like they do in the US where it is seen as a big holiday and over here well……..this post explains the difference in how we do it :)! I have to admit that when I watch American vlogs and see their purchases I get a pang of jealousy as they have. So. Much. Nice. Stuff. and over here we have a few nice things in the shops amongst a sea of plastic tat. Sad times. I have resorted to buying a lot of my things on eBay and spending two or sometimes three times as much on shipping it over here so I can have nicer things.
I found myself in Poundworld and Home Bargains on Saturday looking at their Halloween things as I had some time to kill before going to the cinema and ended up coming out with this little lot:
Halloween Glasses I bought these for my bar cart that I am decorating for Halloween. I bought two with a moonlight owl and the other two have a mahoosive spider on them. I bought similar ones last year but as wine glasses, they are from Poundworld
Bloody Hands These disgusting dismembered hands are for an upcoming Halloween project so look out for that post. These “beauties” were both from Poundworld.
Bat Costume I bought this for Ben as didn’t want him to feel left out when Halloween arrives. He does wear a Halloween themed collar in October but thought he would look cute in this costume. Look out for that pic on Instagram! This was £2.99 in Home Bargains.
