Meal Plan Monday

30/09/2013

Monday again…….. the weekend passes far too quickly. If I was Prime Minister (very unlikely) I would introduce a 3 day Weekend for everyone.  This would mean only four days of work and with our  three days off, we can do all we want/need to do without cramming it into two and then feeling exhausted and wondering where the weekend has gone on Sunday night!!

However, back in the real world I have devised my meal plan for this week.

Monday – Prawn Baked Potato
Tuesday – Fajitas
Wednesday – At my Mum’s
Thursday – Stovies

Undecided about what to have at the Weekend, also I am staying at my Parent’s house as they are away on holiday on Saturday for one week (to Sorrento, alright for some) so will raid their fridge/freezer while I’m there :)!  Might as well get some perks for pet sitting!  Due to relying on what they have in I won’t be participating in #mealplanningmonday next week.

Looking forward to seeing what everyone else is having this week.

Spread the love

Ooh I hope they have a lovely time, and I wholeheartedly agree with your three day weekend proposal – Mondays are always so much nicer on a bank holiday, they should be permanent! x

Oh yes they are much nicer, that's all the Monday Holidays gone now until next year though (sniff). I'm sure they will have a lovely time they have been before & really liked it. I will come and have a look at your blog in a bit 🙂 xx

Three day weekends seem to be quite popular, maybe we should get a petition going ;). Hopefully they have nice food in it, just a shame there is no one there to cook it 🙂 xx

Love prawns in a baked potato. Our meal planning looks bad this week – left overs from pizza take out and whatever we have left in the fridge before we go away! Although Wednesdays are always homemade curry night around ours. But I agree, Monday's are awful days!

Oooh I love take away leftovers :). Pizza is much better eaten the next day cold. The only curries I've experienced are take away or out of a jar, I bet your house smells lovely when you are cooking it……..mmmmmmm. xx
