Blogmas Day 2 | The Body Shop Bloggers Event

Just over a week ago the #aberdeenbloggers were invited to The Body Shop’s blogger event where we were let loose around the store to check out their products, try some of them out and even drink some bubbly. It was the start of their Black Friday event so most of their products were 40% off, how good a deal was that?!

The Body Shop is where I first started buying my make up and perfume back in my teenage years with Fuzzy Peach being my favourite scent that I would douse myself in before I left the house. When you open a bottle of Archer’s Peach Schnapps and sniff it from the top that is what teenage me reeked of, it was really strong!! Thankfully Sadly you can’t buy that scent anymore but their fragrances they sell now are much kinder on your nostrils.

Anyway back into 2016….This year The Body Shop’s campaign is to help restore the rainforests and protect the endangered animals living there, for every specially selected Christmas gift and novelty sponge you purchase The Body Shop will donate 4p towards the cause so a good reason to buy someone’s present (or something for yourself) from there. They have a huge selection of gift sets, stocking fillers, candles as well as every day items like shower gels, shampoos, etc so there is something for everybody. Taking advantage of the 40% off I picked up a couple of Christmas presents and a few things for myself including one of the Beauty Advent Calendars that I had my eye on as with the discount it was a fantastic offer.

They even have a machine where you can personalise a label for a body butter which would make a fantastic stocking filler or secret Santa present for someone, we each got one with our names on them which was really lovely of the staff and I can’t wait to use mine as the Frosted Berries has a really nice fragrance to it.
