Blogmas Day 5 – Favourite Christmas Music

05/12/2014
I am such a div, yesterday I posted my Blogmas post but I stupidly gave it the title Day 3 and was promoting it as Day 3 even though it was actually Day 4!! I’m blaming the increase in hours that I am working at the moment, thankfully next week is the last week I am working these extra shifts.  Anyway moving on I thought I would list my favourite Christmas songs, there are loads to choose from but these are the ones that make me smile and sing-a-long (badly) to.  They are probably classed as quite old now but I don’t think that they have dated musically at all as I’m sure everyone from 3-93 would know the words to these songs.
Fairytale of New York – The Pogues & Kirsty MacColl
It’s a song that starts off a bit slow and builds up for everyone to belt out whether they are in a pub, car or in the office.

Merry Christmas Everybody – Slade
IT’S CHRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIISSSTMMMAAAASSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!

We All Stand Together – Paul McCartney & The Frog Chorus
Even Debenhams loves this song as it’s used in their advert.

Last Christmas – Wham
Obligatory Cheesy Eighties Christmas song.

Merry Christmas Everyone – Shakin’ Stevens
Put on that Festive jumper and bust some Christmas moves like Shaky does.

Whats your favourite Christmas song?

Spread the love

  1. I can't believe I've never heard of the Paul McCartney one! And Christmas isn't Christmas until you've heard a bit of Slade and Shakin' Stevens!
